April 6 - Emma and the Easter Candy

Emma helped me put together the candy and the eggs for our Easter egg hunt this year.  She enjoyed the candy as she helped.  All the Peeps are now eaten.  I didn't count - but I hade none, Dan had one, who knows the split between Emma and Matty.

April 5 - Peeps

I picked up Emma at preschool today.  We are having a sleepover tonight.  We stopped by the "Yogurt Store" first and then made a stop a Target to pick up Easter candy for our egg hunt this weekend.  Emma likes marshmallow and liked the way the Peeps looked.  We bought some.

I am helping Dan redecorate his office.  These are some paint samples that I picked up at Pottery Barn this weekend when we were looking at throw pillows and fabric swatches for the couch we are buying.

I took some shots today of a rabbit garden statue and roses ready to bloom in our garden.

Everything that I planted and divided in the last few weeks is growing and filling in the beds and pots.  Here are some shots from today.  The geraniums are a super hot pink, love them!

March 31 - New Dog Toys

During our trip to PetSmart this morning for Charlie's puppy training, we picked up some new "heavy duty" dog toys.  Charlie and Sophie love their toys, play time, and each other!  The toys take a beating!  Sophie can always tell when a sack we bring in from shopping contains toys.  She sat by the counter until I opened the sack, cut off all the tags on the toys, and gave them the toys.

March 30 - Rosebuds

The roses in our garden are loaded with buds and are ready to burst into bloom.  We have many rose bushes in shades of pink and red. 

March 29 - Emma's Easter Parade 2012

Emma's preschool hosts an Easter parade each year that family can attend.  Here are a few shots of Emma in the parade.

March 28 - Hosta Bed

I dug up the beds on one side of our back porch and planted it all in different varieties of hosta that I separated this year.  It gets little sun, so should do well.

March 27 - Greenville, SC

I went to Greenville early this morning to stay with Noah and Bobby while Emily went to work.  We had a busy day.  Noah learned to say "Nana" while I was there.  I went downtown in the early evening to take some photographs.  We are redecorating Dan's Greenville office with some black and white photographs of Greenville.  Greenville has such a charming downtown.
